By staying true to the needs of all three, we create a space where trust grows naturally and audiences return not from habit, but from genuine connection.
When the needs of the grownup are supported, the child is protected; when the child is empowered, the host’s work is meaningful; and when the host’s contribution is honored, the entire learning ecosystem thrives.
This reciprocity forms a community grounded in care, critical thinking, and shared purpose.
In the tradition of children’s media power couples like Jim and Jane Henson (creative partners on early Muppet projects, including the 1955 series Sam and Friends) and Bert and Nancy Claster (co-founders of Romper Room), Danny LaBrecque and Stefani Foster LaBrecque are innovators in the field. They are best known for their award-winning, internationally recognized indie preschool series, Danny Joe’s Tree House, with Danny on camera and Stefani behind it.
Now they are building a new kind of children’s media platform, one designed not to maximize screen time or trap kids in endless engagement loops, but to foster meaningful relationships among children, their grownups, and what they call today’s most trusted children’s media hosts: mission-driven indie creators who show up as their true selves, on and off the screen. With a deep understanding of how the current system works (and doesn’t work) for both hosts and parents, Stefani and Danny decided to do what they have always done: build it themselves, and serve families without compromise.
